The Unwind Dystology is a series of science fiction novels by young adult literature author Neal Shusterman. It consists of Unwind, UnWholly, and UnSouled, with a companion book UnStrung, and a feature film currently being planned.
The series centers on a group of people set for unwinding during a time in the future when children between the ages of thirteen and eighteen can have their child "unwound," whereby all of the child's organs are transplanted into different donors, so life doesn't technically end.

- Originally planned to be a trilogy, when the supposed-to-be final installment, UnSouled, reached 630 pages, Neal Shusterman and his editors decided to split the books and have a fourth book to conclude the series.[1][2]
