UnBound is a collection of short stories and novellas in the Unwind Dystology.[1] Some stories will be prequels, some will take place in the midst of the series' time span, and some will take place after the end of UnDivided.[2] It is set for release in December 15, 2015.[3] It will also include the online only novella UnStrung.

UnSchooled (Official Title)
When touring schools, recently Mr.Shusterman has been reading a story from this book.
It gives insight into Nelson's backstory, telling about his life as a child in the Heartland War. He envies the feral children, and tries to impress the leader of one of the nearby gangs, who have taken over a old theater. (Named Alph.) After being told by Alph that he should be grateful for what he has, he is beat up as a warning to never come back.
A few years later, after the Unwind Accord is passed, Nelson convinces Alph's (Real name Kevin) mother to sign to allow him to be unwound. He tells the Police of their location, and the police raid the theatre.
Alph is captured, and while trying to run away, Nelson takes a nearby Cops Tranq Gun, shooting Alph down.
In this story, we get a first glimpse into the world of the Heartland War, and kearn of "Wild Zones" where feral teens have completely taken over.
