Unwinding Intelli-system UNIS Is an automated robotic unwinding machine that give unwinds a personal divisional experience.These are used and owned exclusively by Divan.
It is introduced in Undivided and what was used to unwind Connor and later Nelson
Unlike the normal way of unwinding this one is done entirely by machine and is designed to be comfortable and personalized for the unwind. It also takes only about 15 mins if anesthesia is used.
The unwind wears a gunmetal gray bodysuit that made of metallic filaments magnetically fixing them in place in front of the machine. Once the machine is ready UNIS rolls them in on a conveyer belt shutting them in chamber that is larger then a coffin but much, much worse.
UNIS refers to the unwind by name in a genderless stoic voice introducing itself saying " Hello (first and last name of unwind) Welcome to your divisional experience! I am your fully automated Unwinding Intelli-System, but you can call me UNIS"
"Before we get started ___, I have a few questions to make this a smooth and positive transition into a divided state. First let me confirm your comfort level. Please rate your current level of comfort on a scale of one to ten, ten being the least uncomfortable".
If no answer is giving or anything other wise UNIS simply states " All right, I'll assume you are sufficiently comfortable. Within the next few moments you'll feel slight pricks on either side of your neck as I administer the anesthetized synthetic plasma to facilitate your division, and so that you do not suffer any pain. While I'm doing this, lets take the time to personalize your experience. I can project a variety of scenic vistas for you. Please choose from the following: mountain flyby, ocean tranquility, vibrant cityscape,or landmarks of the world."
It will then ask to repeat the choose and if the unwind says nothing or doesn't give a valid response it will select for them.
The images are then projected into the unwinds head as the anesthesia takes effect blurring the lines between what's part of them and whats not.
UNIS will then tell them they will feel activity in they're extremities and is no cause for alarm.
UNIS will state "I can also play your choice of musical genre. Please make your selection now ____. You can say things like "techno-dance" or "Pre-war rock" If the unwind refuses to answer or doesn't give a valid response UNIS will again select for them.
As it progresses UNIS will then say " You may feel unsettled by a sudden inability to breathe, Do not be alarmed; the need for you to breathe is no longer required"
At the end UNIS will finally say " We will soon be ending your the audiovisual portion of your experience. Let me take this opportunity to say what a pleasure it has been to serve you ____, on your special day" which is the last thing the unwind hears before they're death.
As parts are harvested they are place in small medical stasis coolers and automatically dispensed. Labeled with lot numbers.
